This kayak roof rack is designed for mounting onto a vehicle´s existing horizontal roof rack bars. They are specially made to cradle your sit on top kayak in place ensuring a perfect fit whilst on your car and minimizing the chance of damage.

This kayak roof rack is easy to install and comes in two parts and can be folded when not in use. The roof rack comes with two curved marine grade anodized aluminium pieces that are held together with an adjustable elbow bracket. The clips on the elbow bracket can be pushed in to allow the cradle support arms to be fixed at various positions depending on the size of your kayak, or the angle you wish to tilt them.

The arms can be folded all the way down when not carrying a kayak on the car. By maximising space, it also allows you to fit more than one kayak on the roof of your car at one time. You can have two of these roof racks on the car on either side that allows you to carry two kayaks comfortably.

The support arms are made of aluminium and coated with black neoprene foam to gently support the kayak without damaging it. The elbow unit is made of resistant plastic and the screws are made of stainless steel.

This kayak roof rack comes with two metal mounting brackets that secure it to the roof rack of your car with a tightening bolt. The kayak rack pack also comes with two 4m tie down straps with gripped cam bucklesto secure your kayak to the rack.

NOTE: This rack cannot be attached to your car without having a standard horizontal roof rack.
